I’m in my late 30s (with the dreaded 40 creeping closer!), and life definitely feels like it’s moving faster every year. I’m a proud dad to a toddler, with another little boy on the way, so home life is busy but brilliant. My son is called Rudyard, named after The Jungle Book, which usually gets people talking!
What’s your perfect weekend?
My ideal weekend is simple: spending quality time with family, getting out for a walk with the dog, and watching some sport, usually rugby or football. Finish that off with a nice meal, ideally tapas or pizza, and I’m happy.
What’s the biggest mistake buyers make?
One of the biggest mistakes buyers make is becoming emotionally attached to a property before properly understanding its condition. It’s easy to focus on the décor or imagine yourself living there, but underlying issues like damp, structural movement, or roof problems can be expensive surprises. Taking the time to get the right survey can save a lot of stress and money later on.
What do you enjoy most about helping clients?
What I enjoy most is giving clients clarity and peace of mind during what can be a stressful process. Buying a property is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make, so helping them understand what they’re buying - and making them feel informed and reassured - is really rewarding.

My background is in insurance, where I worked for many years across the life, health and home sectors. Since making the switch to the property industry, I’ve really enjoyed helping people make informed decisions when buying a home. I believe in being thorough, practical and approachable, making sure clients understand not just what issues exist, but what they actually mean in practice.
What’s your perfect weekend?
A mix of getting outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying good food. If I can fit in exploring somewhere new, getting lost in the countryside, or visiting an interesting historic building especially a nice church, even better.
What’s the biggest mistake buyers make?
Falling in love with a property before understanding its condition. Every house has defects, but knowing what they are, what they’ll cost to address and whether they’re significant is what allows buyers to negotiate confidently and avoid expensive surprises.
What do you enjoy most about helping clients?
Giving people confidence in one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make. Whether it’s identifying hidden issues, explaining technical findings in plain English or simply providing reassurance, it’s rewarding to know a client can move forward with clarity rather than uncertainty.
